Ingredients: 

      2 lb Beef (stewing beef) diced in
           -1 1/2 to 2" cubes
      3 lg Tomatoes; peeled ,seeded and
           -chopped (up to 4)
      3 lg Onions; chopped (up to 4)
           Salt to taste
           Sugar ( about 4 Tbs) to
           -taste
  1 1/2    Lemons; the juice of, to
           -taste (up to 2)
      2 tb Oil


  Brown beef in the oil with the onions until onions start to melt, stirring
  often. This process takes a little while. Stir in tomatoes and cook until
  they are almost creamy. Add salt, sugar, lemon juice and water to cover
  meat. Simmer until meat is tender, about 2 hours. Posted to MC-Recipe
